Aly Bull

Alyssa Bull made her Olympic debut in Rio alongside K2 partner Alyce Burnett. The pair won both selection events against London Olympians Naomi Flood and Jo Brigden-Jones to secure their spot.  The pair made the A-Finals of the K2 500m by finishing third in their semi-final. In the final the duo came eighth in 1:51.915.

She won bronze at the under-23 World Championship alongside Burnett.

Bull has been involved in Surf Lifesaving since she was 6 years old. She started ski paddling in 2011 at age 16 for surf lifesaving. Two years later, in 2013, Bull started paddling kayaks and she competed in her first national kayak competition before going on to represent Australia at the Junior World Championships in Canada the very same year, where she placed 8th.

 

She started her sporting career as in elite Ironwoman before turning to kayak sprint events.
